Privacy Policy

Last updated October 3, 2026

This policy explains what information Collabsuite LLC ("we", "us") collects when you use the Vedion website, Vedion Cloud and the Vedion IDE, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you try the preview

When you enter your email to see the product preview, we store that email address, when you first and last asked, and how many times. The preview itself shows sample data only.

When you download the IDE

When you enter your email to download the Vedion IDE, we store that email address, the platform and version offered, when you first and last downloaded, and how many times. We use it to know who is using the beta and to contact you about it.

Updates

The installed IDE checks vedion.ai for a newer version when it starts and every few hours. These checks send no account or work information; like any web request, they reach our hosting provider with your IP address and the IDE's version.

Your account

When you sign in, we store your email address, name and sign-in details through our authentication provider. If your organization uses single sign-on, we receive the identity details your provider shares.

Work you and your organization add to Vedion Cloud

This includes goals, key results, projects, tickets, teams, comments, handovers, project memory and other content you or your teammates create. Your organization controls this content.

Activity from the Vedion IDE

When you are signed in and start work on a ticket, the IDE sends the ticket you are working on, the repository location and branch name, the number of changed files, the AI agent in use, the number of requests in that session, its status and timestamps. Source code, file contents and agent transcripts are not sent to Vedion Cloud automatically.

Handovers and shared updates include only what you review and choose to share, or automatic summaries you turn on. Automatic summaries exclude agent transcripts and source files.

Connected services

If your organization connects GitHub, we store the details needed to link repositories to projects. If your organization adds company AI provider keys, they are stored encrypted on our servers.

AI providers

Vedion does not train AI models on your content. When you add a personal AI key in the IDE, the key stays in your operating system's credential store and requests go from your computer directly to that provider. When your organization uses company AI keys, requests pass through Vedion Cloud to the provider your organization chose, such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. Each provider handles that data under its own terms.

How we use information

  • To provide, secure and maintain Vedion.
  • To show your organization its goals, projects, tickets and engineering activity.
  • To respond to you when you ask about Vedion or the preview, and to contact people who downloaded the beta about it.
  • To keep the installed IDE up to date.
  • To find and fix problems and improve the product.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use service providers that process data for us:

  • Vercel, which hosts Vedion Cloud.
  • Supabase, which provides our database and sign-in.
  • GitHub, when your organization connects it.
  • AI providers your organization configures, as described above.

Within Vedion Cloud, your content is visible to people in your organization according to the workspace and project access your organization sets. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

Cookies and local storage

We use only what Vedion needs to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

  • Sign-in cookies keep you signed in to Vedion Cloud.
  • A short-lived GitHub cookie protects the step where an administrator connects GitHub. It is removed when that step finishes.
  • Your theme choice, light or dark, is saved in your browser's local storage.

Because these are needed for the site to work, we do not ask for consent to them. You can clear them in your browser settings, but you will then be signed out.

How long we keep it

We keep account and workspace information while your organization uses Vedion, and preview and download emails until you ask us to delete them. When an organization stops using Vedion, it can ask us to delete its data, except where we must keep some records by law.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections. Database access is restricted so people see only their organization's data, and company AI keys are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information. If you live in California, you also have the rights given by the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what we collect and to not be discriminated against for using your rights. If your account belongs to an organization, some requests go through your organization's administrator, who controls that workspace's content.

Children

Vedion is built for work and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the product or by email when the change is significant. For privacy questions or requests, contact Collabsuite LLC.
