Approved model families

Vedion matches the family the local runtime reports, so renaming a model does not change its family. This is a usage policy, not device security.

“First” means use that kind of model and switch to the other when it is not running. “Only” never switches. Only stricter lets engineers keep more work local, never less.

Files that never leave a workstationOne pattern per line. Prompts that include a matching file use a local model or stop; they are never sent to the cloud. Engineers can add patterns but not remove these.

Covers Vedion chat, agents and inline completion, and the Claude and Codex tabs Vedion opens. Tools engineers start on their own, such as a Claude Code or Codex terminal opened outside Vedion, use their own settings.

These settings govern Vedion AI. Independently connected extensions and terminal tools use their own credentials. Vedion does not store prompts or responses from the company gateway.

Let people on your verified domains sign in through your company identity provider with SAML. Their first sign-in adds them to this company as members.
